What is Aleppo soap made from?
Traditional Aleppo soap is made from just two ingredients — olive oil and laurel (bay) oil. It’s one of the oldest soaps in the world and has been crafted in the Levant for centuries.
What is Moroccan black soap (beldi)?
Moroccan black soap is a soft, olive-based paste at the heart of the traditional hammam ritual. It’s applied to damp skin, left for a few minutes, then scrubbed away with a kessa mitt to gently exfoliate. Learn more in our complete beldi guide.
Is your soap suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. Our soaps are made with gentle, natural ingredients and contain no harsh sulphates or synthetic detergents, which makes them well suited to sensitive skin and everyday use.
Are your soaps natural, vegan and cruelty-free?
Our soaps are made from plant-based ingredients with short, natural ingredient lists, and they’re always cruelty-free. We leave out unnecessary additives on purpose.
Using our soaps
How do I use Moroccan black soap?
Apply a thin layer to clean, damp skin, leave it for 3–5 minutes, then scrub in circular motions with a kessa exfoliating mitt and rinse well. See our step-by-step home hammam guide.
